My teaching experience includes both graduate and undergraduate level courses in the Speech Language Hearing: Sciences and Disorders at the University of Kansas. In addition to teaching courses, I have also been invited to give guest lectures for both graduate and undergraduate level courses. Details are shared below.
2021-2022
Course: Survey of Communication Disorders
Role: Instructor of Record
Responsibilities
Developed a syllabus that outlined topics and listed due dates for assignments and exams
Communicated course policies to students regarding and managed challenges
Made lesson plans that described how information would be presented
Organized asynchronous lectures and activities to present material
Conducted office hours and responded to student requests
Made arrangements for students who required accommodations approved by the Office of Accessibility
Created a grade book in the school’s learning management system
Managed the posting of scores for diverse outcome measures (e.g., examinations, quizzes, and other assignments) on the school’s learning management system
Provided written and verbal feedback on students' work across examinations, quizzes, and other assignments
Determined final course grades and recorded the grades into the university system
2021-2022
Course: Multicultural Consideration in Speech Language and Hearing
Role: Co-Instructor
Responsibilities
Co-led the course for one semester and led one section of the course for another semester
Developed discussion questions to facilitate class discussions
Conducted a portion of student evaluations
Provided written and oral feedback to students
Held office hours to provide additional support to students

Developed creative in-person and virtual class activities
Developed quizzes and assignments
Performed item analysis to evaluate student outcome patterns
